Dhammapada · 9.7

Māvamaññetha puññassa, na maṃ taṃ āgamissati;Udabindunipātena, udakumbhopi pūrati;Dhīro pūrati puññassa, thokaṃ thokampi ācinaṃ.

Mavamannetha punnassa, na mam tam agamissati; Udabindunipatena, udakumbhopi purati; Dhiro purati punnassa, thokam thokampi acinam.

Do not think lightly of good, saying 'it will not come to me.' Drop by falling drop, even a water-jar fills. The wise one fills with good, gathering it little by little.
