Pāpopi passati bhadraṃ, yāva pāpaṃ na paccati;Yadā ca paccati pāpaṃ, atha pāpo pāpāni passati.

Papopi passati bhadram, yava papam na paccati; Yada ca paccati papam, atha papo papani passati.

Even an evildoer sees good as long as evil has not ripened. But when evil ripens, the evildoer sees its evils.
