Dhammapada · 9.2

Pāpañce puriso kayirā, na taṃ kayirā punappunaṃ;Na tamhi chandaṃ kayirātha, dukkho pāpassa uccayo.

Papance puriso kayira, na tam kayira punappunam; Na tamhi chandam kayiratha, dukkho papassa uccayo.

If a person does evil, let them not do it again and again, nor take delight in it. Painful is the accumulation of evil.
