Dhammapada · 8.16

Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve, apassaṃ dhammamuttamaṃ;Ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo, passato dhammamuttamaṃ.

Yo ca vassasatam jive, apassam dhammamuttamam; Ekaham jivitam seyyo, passato dhammamuttamam.

Though one might live a hundred years without seeing the supreme Dhamma, one day's life of one who sees it is better.

— Dhammapada 8.16
