Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve, apassaṃ amataṃ padaṃ;Ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo, passato amataṃ padaṃ.

Yo ca vassasatam jive, apassam amatam padam; Ekaham jivitam seyyo, passato amatam padam.

Though one might live a hundred years without seeing the Deathless state, one day's life of one who sees it is better.
