Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve, kusīto hīnavīriyo;Ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo, viriyamārabhato daḷhaṃ.

Yo ca vassasatam jive, kusito hinaviriyo; Ekaham jivitam seyyo, viriyamarabhato dalham.

Though one might live a hundred years lazy and weak in effort, one day's life of firm energy is better.
