Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve, duppañño asamāhito;Ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo, paññavantassa jhāyino.
Yo ca vassasatam jive, duppanno asamahito; Ekaham jivitam seyyo, pannavantassa jhayino.
Though one might live a hundred years foolish and unconcentrated, one day's life of a wise meditator is better.
