Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve, dussīlo asamāhito;Ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo, sīlavantassa jhāyino.
Yo ca vassasatam jive, dussilo asamahito; Ekaham jivitam seyyo, silavantassa jhayino.
Though one might live a hundred years immoral and unconcentrated, one day's life of a virtuous meditator is better.
