Dhammapada · 8.3

Yo ca gāthā sataṃ bhāse, anatthapadasaṃhitā;Ekaṃ dhammapadaṃ seyyo, yaṃ sutvā upasammati.

Yo ca gatha satam bhase, anatthapadasamhita; Ekam dhammapadam seyyo, yam sutva upasammati.

Though one may recite a hundred verses composed of useless words, better is one line of Dhamma, hearing which one becomes calm.
