Mameva kata maññantu, gihīpabbajitā ubho;Mamevātivasā assu, kiccākiccesu kismici;Iti bālassa saṅkappo, icchā māno ca vaḍḍhati.
Mameva kata mannantu, gihipabbajita ubho; Mamevativasa assu, kiccakiccesu kismici; Iti balassa sankappo, iccha mano ca vaddhati.
'Let both householders and ascetics know it was done by me; may they all defer to me in whatever should or should not be done' — thus the fool's intention; his craving and conceit grow.
