Yāvadeva anatthāya, ñattaṃ bālassa jāyati;Hanti bālassa sukkaṃsaṃ, muddhamassa vipātayaṃ.

Yavadeva anatthaya, nattam balassa jayati; Hanti balassa sukkamsam, muddhamassa vipatayam.

The fool's knowledge arises only for his own ruin — it destroys his good fortune and cleaves his head.
