Māse māse kusaggena, bālo bhuñjeyya bhojanaṃ;Na so saṅkhātadhammānaṃ, kalaṃ agghati soḷasiṃ.

Mase mase kusaggena, balo bhunjeyya bhojanam; Na so sankhatadhammanam, kalam agghati solasim.

Month after month a fool may eat his food with the tip of a kusa grass blade — yet he is not worth one-sixteenth of those who have realized the Dhamma.
