Candanaṃ tagaraṃ vāpi, uppalaṃ atha vassikī;Etesaṃ gandhajātānaṃ, sīlagandho anuttaro.

Candanam tagaram vapi, uppalam atha vassiki; Etesam gandhajatanam, silagandho anuttaro.

Of all fragrances — sandalwood, tagara, lotus, jasmine — the fragrance of virtue is supreme.
