Yathāpi ruciraṃ pupphaṃ, vaṇṇavantaṃ sagandhakaṃ;Evaṃ subhāsitā vācā, saphalā hoti kubbato.
Yathapi ruciram puppham, vannavantam sagandhakam; Evam subhasita vaca, saphala hoti kubbato.
As a lovely flower bright in colour and fragrant too, so are well-spoken words fruitful for the one who acts on them.
