Pupphāni heva pacinantaṃ, byāsattamanasaṃ naraṃ;Suttaṃ gāmaṃ mahoghova, maccu ādāya gacchati.
Pupphani heva pacinantam, byasattamanasam naram; Suttam gamam mahoghova, maccu adaya gacchati.
As a great flood sweeps away a sleeping village, so death carries off the one whose mind is entangled in plucking flowers.
