Dhammapada · 3.11

Na taṃ mātā pitā kayirā, aññe vāpi ca ñātakā;Sammāpaṇihitaṃ cittaṃ, seyyaso naṃ tato kare.

na tam mata pita kayira, anne va-pi ca nataka; samma-panihitam cittam, seyyaso nam tato kare.

What neither mother nor father nor any kin can do for you, a rightly-directed mind can do for you — and far more.
