Aciraṃ vatayaṃ kāyo, pathaviṃ adhisessati;Chuddho apetaviññāṇo, niratthaṃva kaliṅgaraṃ.

aciram vata-yam kayo, pathavim adhisessati; chuddho apeta-vinnano, niratthamva kalingaram.

Soon, alas, this body will lie upon the earth — cast aside, deprived of consciousness, as useless as a rotten log.
