Appamādarato bhikkhu, pamāde bhayadassi vā;Saṃyojanaṃ aṇuṃ thūlaṃ, ḍahaṃ aggīva gacchati.

appamadarato bhikkhu, pamade bhayadassi va; samyojanam anum thulam, daham aggi-va gacchati.

The monk who delights in heedfulness, who sees danger in heedlessness, moves through every fetter — fine or coarse — as fire moves through fuel.
