Pamādamanuyuñjanti, bālā dummedhino janā;Appamādañca medhāvī, dhanaṃ seṭṭhaṃva rakkhati.

pamadam-anuyunjanti, bala dummedhino jana; appamadanca medhavi, dhanam setthamva rakkhati.

The foolish, weak-minded folk give themselves to heedlessness; but the wise guard heedfulness as their greatest treasure.
