Dhammapada · 1.15

Idha socati pecca socati, pāpakārī ubhayattha socati; So socati so vihaññati, disvā kammakiliṭṭhamattano.

Idha socati pecca socati, papakari ubhayattha socati; So socati so vihannati, disva kammakilitthamattano.

The evildoer grieves here and grieves hereafter; in both worlds he grieves. He grieves and suffers, seeing the corruption of his own deeds.
