Yathā agāraṃ suchannaṃ, vuṭṭhī na samativijjhati;Evaṃ subhāvitaṃ cittaṃ, rāgo na samativijjhati.

Yatha agaram suchannam, vutthi na samativijjhati; Evam subhavitam cittam, rago na samativijjhati.

Just as rain does not penetrate a well-thatched house, so passion does not penetrate a well-cultivated mind.
